All guided tours are two hours in total length including a full hour on the summit. All tickets include FREE admission to the Mount Washington Observatory’s brand new experience at the summit – Extreme Mount Washington. Additionally, a portion of your ticket goes to support the non-profit Mt. Washington Observatory and the Mt. Washington State Park.

Three hour Discovery Tours allow more time for guests to explore the many layers of Mount Washington's rich history, geology, flora, wildlife, and vistas with one of our accomplished and dedicated tour guides.
Working collaboratively with your guide and other tour participants you might visit hidden viewpoints seldom seen by others and find solitude rarely experienced, or you might spend more time at the summit. Taking advantage of all that this mountain has to offer might require walking on uneven and rocky terrain over moderate distances. Tours may take place in wind, fog and light precipitation, often without quick access to shelter, therefore appropriate clothing and footwear is essential.
